| BTSA provides numerous benefits to both its players and coaches. These benefits are subject to change by the Executive Board depending on the financial condition of the club.
Club Assisted Training
The Club encourages teams to take advantage of training. Depending on the fiscal condition of the club, certain training expenses MAY be reimbursed to teams. The determination of this benefit will be made by the Executive Board and will be communicated to the travel teams.
ODP Player
When an ODP player makes the State team, they are charged a $350.00 fee by the state. BTSA will reimburse that fee as long as the player remains a carded player to a BTSA travel team.
Coaches License
BTSA encourages its coaches to attend advanced coaching classes. To help support that, a reimbursement procedure is in place for class registration expenses. (we won't pay for a trip to Florida to take a 'D' course). If a BTSA coach takes an 'E' or 'D' course after January 1, 1999, they are eligible for reimbursement. Copies of cancelled checks and the appropriate license are required to receive reimbursement. All requirements listed below must be met.
- F License
By state rule, all coaches must have an 'F' license or better to coach a travel team. BTSA does not reimburse 'F' license classes at this time.
- E License
BTSA will reimburse the cost of the class for the 'E' license for any coach who is in good standing with BTSA at the time they take the course. The fee will be paid at the June general membership meeting assuming the coach is still in good standing.
- D License
BTSA will reimburse the cost of the class for the 'D' license for any coach who is in good standing with BTSA at the time they take the course. Further, the coach must remain an active BTSA coach and remain in good standing for a period of 2 years AFTER receiving their license. The fee will be paid at the June general membership meeting following the 2 year period.
High School Scholarship
Each year, BTSA provides a $500.00 scholarship to member of both the Girls and Boys soccer team at Brick High School and Brick Memorial. The receipients of these awards are selected by the executive board based on a combination of their soccer achievements and their scholastic abilities.
